Directions

By Land

From I-85 head south on NC Hwy 8 /Cotton Grove Road (10.5mi) you cross the bridge over High Rock Lake.

Take the 3rd left on Oakwood Blvd.

Take the 4th left on Beach Drive.

Left on N Shore Drive and “Top of the Rock” will be on your right. Parking is available in a private lot just past the main building on the left.

By Water

From the Salisbury side (if you’re lucky enough to get under the bridge) look for the lights outlining the roof line and the docks on your right side approximately 1/4 mile past the bridge on Abbott’s Creek. Boat parking in the open slips.

From the Lexington side we’re located on the left 1/4 mile before you get to the Hwy 8 bridge.

    I absolutly love The Top of the Rock. Great scenery, great bartenders, and great staff. You couldnt ask for a better place to hang out, relax, play cornhole, or get your dance on :) Looking foward to many more great times with you guys!!

    I READ WHERE PEOPLE SAY IT’S A GOOD FAMILY SPOT,I’M LOOKING FOR A PLACE THAT THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN ENJOY I’VE BEEN TRYING TO GET A FEEL OF THIS FINE PLACE FROM THE NET BUT I CAN’T QUITE GET ENUFF INFO. I THOUGHT THIS PLACE WAS A BAR / RESTURANT WE SEEN FIREWORK’S THERE THIS YEAR BUT DIDN’T LET THE KID’S GO NEAR THE PLACE COULD YA JUST POST A TRUE AD ON MY WALL SO PEOPLE WILL REALY KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN BY A FAMILY PLACE THANK’S.

      Thanks for your comments. Our primary goal has been to create a family atmoshpere where folks from Lexington and the High Rock Lake area can visit, feel comfortable, and enjoy our facilities. The plans include a Store, a Food Stand on the property that can serve the general public as well as the members of Top of the Rock, new Docks, a Youth Center, Volleyball, Boating, Boating Safety, and more. There is a lot of work to be done with a limited budget in a very tough economy. We would love to have you come by and visit personally so that we can show you first hand where we’re going.

    Love what y’all have done with the place, the entertaiment & the games. Keep up the good work. I wish y’all all the success. I love to come over by boat. Have you had a chance to listen to the Lauren Light promo I gave to Ralph? She’s good & I think she would be a good fit at the Top of the Rock.

    I just enjoy the people at Top of the Rock. The mangement people are so nice to everyone and the music is always good. The place is so nice and clean inside and out. I hope Davidson County will come out and support their efforts in giving us a fun place to go.

    Went for the 1st time since it reopened last night. It was a very nice and clean bar!! We had an awesome time. The black weekend special was great we jumped on that one!! I like that you don’t have solo cups that you put your drinks in. The bartenders were right on top of everything and I felt like I was in the movie Cocktail. LOL Very entertaining!!!

    How old do you have to be to get into the nightclub?
    What is the costs for non-members?

      Hi Beth,

      We do allow people under 21 into the club, usually accompanied by someone over 21. We promote ourselves as ‘family friendly’ and our future plans include facilities that will directly target our younger members.

      Non member fees are generally $3 per evening. Annual Membership is $25.
